Privacy Policy
Last updated June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GT Your Life, operated by [OPERATING ENTITY] ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information (only if you sign in)
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
Content you create
The builds you save (the car generation, build name, stage, and the parts you add). If you mark a build public, it is viewable by anyone with the link.
Automatically collected
Basic technical data necessary to serve the site (e.g. IP address and request logs held by our hosting and database providers) and strictly necessary cookies for authentication/session. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies; if that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required consent mechanism.
2. How we use information
- To provide sign-in, your garage, and saved/shared builds.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We use Google user data only to provide and improve these features, consistent with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising.
3. How information is shared
- Service providers that host and run the site on our behalf — currently Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Google (sign-in) — which process data under their own terms.
- Publicly, only the content you choose to make public (shared builds), which may include your build details but not your email.
- Legal/safety — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety.
- Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Data retention & deletion
We keep account data and builds until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual builds, or request account deletion by emailing privacy@gtyourlife.com; we will delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
5. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, or users in the EEA/UK under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@gtyourlife.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You can also revoke GT Your Life's access from your Google Account settings at any time.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data location & security
Data is processed and stored in the United States by our providers. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
